• Tips for Future Pilgrims

  • Have dinner at La Curiosa. You won’t be disappointed.

  • The route is isolated. It's very open, and I did not see any pilgrims the entire day. I will do other Caminos in the future, but I will not be as rigid with the stages as I was on the Camino Frances

  • Many Pilgrims split the trip to Leon and stay in Mansilla de las Mulas or Puente de Villarente.  If you want to get mileage in and walk on to Leon, the distance is 27 miles and will take a little over 9 hours.

One more day on the Meseta! It was harder than I thought but worth it. Tomorrow I will reach Leon and take a rest day! -That Eva!
