Safety on the trail: Follow your instincts. I took the bus to the next stage, Belorado. It was rainy, with heavy fog. I was walking out of Santo Domingo de la Calzada alone and couldn’t see 10 yards in front of me. In my later years, I have learned to trust my instincts with great acuity. Today, they told me to stop and take a bus.
